SEVENTH GRADE

My Philosophy

I am dedicated to the importance of developing our students into responsible citizens through the life and teachings of Jesus.  The spiritual, intellectual, moral, emotional, social and physical development of my students is of the utmost importance.  I will provide students with an academically challenging program, one that encourages critical thinking and problem solving, and develops an ability to use technology.  A safe instructional environment will prevail, and life-long learning will be promoted.

Classroom Rules

The students in math need to come to class prepared.  They will need pencils, loose leaf, graph paper, compass, protractor, copybook and ruler.  Each student's grade will be based upon homework, which is given every night, quizzes, tests, copybook and class participation.  Rules that are important in our classroom are:

  • Respect for others, their property, and their feelings.  This is our MOST important rule.

  • Come prepared to class

  • Neatness is important when completing all assignments.

  • Students should always raise hands to answer questions.

  • A student's best effort is always expected and given.
